In Brazil it is not common to find a bachelors or masters program completely in english. However, you can find here a list of pogrammes and modules taught in English in Brazil.
However, many universities offer at least some modules in english. This is usually more the case at private than public universities. At just a few private universities you can follow programs completely in english.
If you are planning to go to Brazil for an exchange arranged by your university, ask the international office of your university for more information about the possible modules to be followed and the language of instruction.
If you are planning to go on your own for an exchange or a complete program you can ask the NESO Brazil office for advice on possible universities, programs or modules you can take and the language of instruction of these programs.

International Programme in Management
Introductory undergraduate Programme in Management.
The International Programme in Management (IPM), offered by FGV-EAESP provides students with the know-how and expertise needed for a successful management career in an international business environment.
Its diversified structure provides up-to-date conceptual knowledge and state-of-the art tools required for effective management, in both the Brazilian and the international marketplaces.
While encouraging the development of cross-cultural aptitudes, the IPM offers valuable experience and merges academic learning with current management practices in such a way that it is regarded as the ultimate fast-track to success.
Our IPM is fully conducted in English by FGV-EAESP faculty members over a six month term divided in two sessions. Students will finish a total of eight courses to complete the programme.
The pogramme has been designed in harmony with the Bologna Protocol MSc structure, accommodating senior undergraduate and junior graduate students.
Professional Master´s in International Management (MPGI)
This is a Master´s programme that focus on international management. This two year course s done in partnership with some universities around the world, such as: the Global Alliance in Management Education (CEMS), Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (France), UniversitàCommerciale Luigi Bocconi (Italy), Faculdade de Economia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal), or Universität St. Gallen - Hochschule für Wirtschafts, Rechts und Sozialwissensschaften (Switzerland).

International Business Law (45 hours)
The oriented study of international business law and corporate transactions in global environment is mostly desired for the comprehension of the classic foundations of international commercial law and its recent development, and the education of international lawyers for a conscious global business advocacy. In this sense, the present course covers a comprehensive range of units related to the legal regulation of international business law, transnational corporate law, private international law, movement of multinational companies, international commercial contracts, and further issues on comparative law and its relevance to international commercial law. The classes will also cover topics on harmonization and uniformization of international commercial law, its instruments and institutions and practical issues concerning the international commercial contracts.
Brazil Interdisciplinary Perspectives (45 hours)
A survey of relevant issues and aspects of Brazil and Brazilian communities:
Brazil in numbers- An overview; the economy and urbanization; development issues and institutions; construction of cultural and ethnic identities; racism; Brazilian culture, art and music; Brazilian Educational System; Brazilian communities: Religions in Brazil, social change; social structure and social class; public sector and crime, social control; public and international security; Private sector and Industrial evolution (quality and productivity); Environment and sustainable development.
Brazilian Culture (45 hours)
Formation of the Brazilian Culture; The Portuguese Language from Brazil; Brazilian Regions; Brazilian Folklore, Music and Arts.
Doing Business in Brazil (45 hours)
Legal aspects of doing business in Brazil, tax law, intellectual property law, corporate laws, legal entities, tax planning, labor regulations, Central Bank regulations on foreign investment.

Environmental Management (4.0 Credits)
An integrated approach for the enterpreneurial relations and socio-environmental issues, regarding a planning system based on sustainable development orientation. Concepts, enterprise performance, economic viability and environmental policy. The course will present historical aspects of the environmental management, based on the concept and the principles of sustainable development. Environmental theories and policies in the and policies in the enterprises will be appraised. The course will also approach Brazilian and international environmental norms. Finally, the company´s environmental strategies will be presented, from the green product concept point of view.
International Negotiations (4.0 Credits)
At first, the course presents the dinamics of a global environment and how it affects international negotiations. Students will learn a range of strategies and tools that businessmen and individuals citizens can use while negotiating. A theoretical base will be provided along with a series of case studies and assignment designed to create an understanding of different realities. In addition, the impact of culture communication on international negotiations is explored. The classes will be interactive and designed to engage the students in understanding themselves and the world around them. The main purpose of this course is to help students become better negotiators in the new world scenario. Therefore, we will study the main concepts of negotiations and the effects of communucation and cultural differences in the process of international negotiations as well as important types of agreements and the different styles and characteristics of negotiators. We expect to enable students to develop approaches to negotiating that are compatible with their skills and personal styles in order to maximize chances of success.
Principles of Foreign Commerce (4.0 Credits)
In the first part, the course presents the basic theoretical developments of both international trade and finance, including the classical and neoclassical trade theory as well as the modern aspects related to globalization, all at introductory level. Also, the formation of the international financial sector is presented, ranging from the rise and fall of Bretton Woods to the current financial crisis. Students will learn about the main causes of the financial crisis. In part two, we present the practical material on processes of exports and imports of goods and services. Substantial part of the practical section of the course is devoted to the INCOTERMS, types, definitions and use. Also, classifying the operation of foreign trade, as relating them to documents and letters, is a priority in this part of the course. In the very last part, we present the basics of foreign exchange market, both at the theoretical as well as the practical standpoint. Notions of equilibrium in the foreign exchange market and specificities of contracts are presented. This course aims to help students become better acquainted with the basics of theoretical devices in order to understand the main developments of international trade and finance.
Business Ethics (4.0 Credits)

Labor Force, businessmen and society. Business ethics, globalization and different cultures. Labour, land and capital in different cultures. International Trade, Ethics and the international relations. Professional ethics in a global world. Social responsability. Unification of products and consumption. The enterprise and the respect of the environment. Ethics and the dignity of the future generations.
Human Rights (2.0 credits)
HIstorical construction ofthe human rights. Bill of rights. The constitutions and human rights. Human rights in Brazil. International protection of human rights. This course analyses the historical construction of human rights, examining their theoretical background and the context of their creation. It studies the main historical documents that mark the transformation of the human rights and tries to understand their role in the construction of the contemporary state and law. It presents the process of constitutionalization of the human rights under the national state and their links with ideological matrix of the constitutional law and analyses the position of the human rights inside Brazilian constitutional history. It also explains the basis of the rejection to the human rights in Brazil and analyses the forms to increase the respect for the human rights in the public security policies. Finally, it studies the international legal instruments to potect the human rights and their consequences on defense of the human rights in the international order.
Brazilian Culture (4.0 Credits)
Brazil accounts for half of Latin America in population, geographic area and economic power. The country has experienced extremes in its history and today it straddles the first in third worlds. This course develops insights on what makes BRazil such a diverse country. The major themes that we will focus on include: land and people, the haves and have-nots, family-gender-sexuality, race relations, social classes, religion, violence, literature ad national identity, soccer, carnival and music.
